Becky is a research technician based 50% working in the Geography Laboratories and 50%  on the BBSRC Greenhous Gas Reduction research project ‘Greenhouse Gas Removal by Accelerated Peat Formation’. The Manchester team are responsible for the upland demonstrator project which will be trialling approaches to reducing greenhouse gas flux from restored peatland in the Peak District National Park in order to assess the potential of moorland restoration approaches as a greenhouse gas reduction technology.
